• How do I stack charcoal for grilling?

  To stack charcoal in a kamado grill, start by placing larger chunks of charcoal at the bottom of the firebox to ensure a stable base. Create a small mound, arranging the charcoal in a pyramid shape. This allows for better airflow and efficient burning. Fill the mound with medium-sized pieces, layering them evenly around the base. Leave a small well in the center for lighting. If using a fire starter, place it in this well and light it. Once lit, the fire will gradually spread through the charcoal, creating a consistent and long-lasting heat source. Ensure there is adequate space between the charcoal pieces to maintain good air circulation, which is crucial for temperature control in a kamado grill.
