Get ready to impress with this cheesy, savory, and smoky twist on classic stuffed bread! Perfect for a Thanksgiving side or an appetizer, this Brie and Sausage Stuffed Baguette has all the flavors of comfort food with a gourmet touch. Topped with a fresh chimichurri sauce, each slice is bursting with flavor, making it a memorable addition to any holiday spread.

Instructions

  1. 01

Stabilize your grill at 400F. Using 1 heat deflector, set up your grill to be half direct and half indirect.

  2. 02

While the grill is coming to temperature, remove some of the inner soft bread to create a gap for the filling. Rip the brie cheese into small pieces and stuff them evenly into the bread trench. Top the cheese with a generous amount of ground sausage spread thin covering both cheese and exposed bread of the cut side of the baguette.

  3. 03

Place the stuffed baguette, meat side up, on the indirect side. Close the dome and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until you see the cheese begin to bubble. Gently flip the stuffed bread onto the direct side of the grill, allow the sausage to finish cooking, and the bread to slightly char. Using a large spatula or 2 spatulas, flip the bread back to its original side and transfer to a cutting board.

  4. 04

Top with chimichurri, slice into personal portions and enjoy!
